  These are medical conditions or diseases that are not
Infectious (Non Communicabe)
 They have prolonged course of Illiness
Have Multiple risk factors
Highly affect the quality of life
Not easily cured, although some can be controlled
Treatment is almost for a life time
 Responsible for 35% of all deaths in low- and middle-
income countries AND 60% deaths Globally
Many people with NCDs are not aware , a need for
periodic screening
