Understanding Methods of Social Work
Methods of social work encompass various approaches aimed at enhancing social functioning and addressing problems in individuals and communities. These methods are categorized into primary and secondary methods, each serving different purposes in the field. Primary methods involve direct interaction with individuals, groups, and communities through social casework, groupwork, and community organization. On the other hand, secondary methods focus on broader aspects such as social welfare administration, social research, and social policy and action. Each method plays a crucial role in promoting well-being and supporting individuals in need.
