In grammar, conjunctions play a crucial role in connecting words, phrases, and clauses. The FANBOYS (For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So) are coordinating conjunctions that join two equal elements. Subordinate conjunctions link dependent clauses to independent ones, creating complex sentences. Understanding how these conjunctions work is essential for crafting clear and structured writing.
