Campus Security Authorities at California Lutheran University have specific responsibilities related to gathering and reporting crime statistics, as mandated by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. This training is essential for individuals in various roles across the university who interact frequently with students. The responsibilities include reporting relevant information to Campus Public Safety. Campus Security Authorities encompass officials with significant oversight of student and campus activities, such as Deans, Directors, and other administrative personnel. Compliance with these duties ensures accurate disclosure of campus crime statistics to the U.S. Department of Education.
