  2. .. unwanted, aggressive behavior among children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. (www.stopbullying.gov) BULLYING is

  3. a struggle or problem between two or more people. It can include physical contact, and there is a possible solution. There is an equal balance of power between the people involved. A CONFLICT is

  4. when friends or classmates are having fun with each other. Both are happy and participating equally. No one is getting hurt. TEASING is

  5. when someone is being mean or hurting someone on purpose. It is an isolated event and doesn t happen regularly. A MEAN MOMENT is

  6. Was that bullying, a conflict, teasing, or a mean moment? *You hear your friend talking mean about you to another classmate. *A classmate trips another student and laughs and walks away. *A classmate teases and laughs at the new student each afternoon. *A friend teases you about liking to read thick chapters books. You laugh and tease them about liking to read short books. *You and a friend have an argument about them sharing your secret. *A classmate calls you a mean name because you beat them in a game.
