Characteristics A tsunami makes a large gap in the ocean floor. Tsunamis begin when water moves. Tsunamis also can be caused four ways. A Tsunami is almost like the ocean floor got angry. Tsunamis can cause very dangerous destruction.
Ways to prepare When a tsunami happens, you need food and water to survive. When a tsunami happens, stay away from the coast. Before a tsunami happens, you should make a family plan. If you hear a tsunami warning alarm get ready to evacuate to higher ground. After a tsunami happens, Don t go in the water because there might be debris.
The 2011 TSUNAMI One of the most terrifying tsunamis happed on March 11, 2011 in the country of Japan. This tsunami caused more than 15,000 deaths. This tsunami was about 128 feet tall. The tsunami went 6 miles inland super fast. This tsunami caused big explosions in the area. The tsunami was caused by an earthquake on the ocean floor. This 2011 tsunami caused people and pets to get separated from each other.
