Tolland County 4-H Ad and Sponsorship Campaign
Why do we sell ads/ sponsorships?
$30,000 This is why! It costs anywhere between $25,000-$30,000 to run our fair every year!
The ad/sponsorship campaign is our largest fundraiser -- that s where you come in, including your parents/guardians!
This year, our goal for the campaign is to raise $15,000. We are asking that all 4-Hers sell at least 3 ads/sponsorships to help meet this goal!
Who do I ask? How do I ask? 1. Start by introducing yourself! Be friendly and confident -- handshakes aren t COVID friendly so please be mindful of this when greeting sponsors! Tell them you re a member of Tolland County 4-H. Be sure to explain to them what 4-H is and tell them about your 4- H projects. Explain that our 4-H fair runs the second weekend in August and that you are raising money through an ad campaign. Finally, ask them if they would like to support our fair by donating! Remember -- Tolland County 4-H is now a 501c3 organization, so donors are eligible for a tax deduction! Be prepared to answer any questions they may have about 4-H, the fair, or donating. Feel free to invite them to our fair, but first refer them to our website for updates regarding the status of our fair due to COVID-19 concerns. 2. ANYONE! 3. You can ask friends, family members, neighbors, 4-H alumni, and local businesses to name a few! 4.
Where do I get the forms? 7
You can access all of the needed forms right here on our website! 8
What do I do with the forms?
