  1. The Test: The Private and Personal Life of the Minister 67thDistrict Council Superintendent s Message Prayer Model | May 21, 2012

  2. Luke 10:27 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.

  3. REVELATION: Thank him for his loving-kindness, for his rebuilding and returning our purity after sin. Jeremiah 31:3 - The LORD has appeared unto me saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving- kindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel!

  4. John 20:28 He is my Lord and my God. God is Yahweh, the covenant keeping, faithful and only God.

  5. Deuteronomy 6:4 - Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! He is the Great I AM! He is our God. Elohim, Almighty Creator. Omnipotent, He has sovereign rule over the universe. El Shaddai, all sufficient, more than enough. Elyon, the Lord God Most High. Nissi, our Banner who leads us to victory.

  6. Tsidkenu, our Righteousness. M Kaddesh, our Sanctifier. Rophe, our present Healer and continuing Healer. Rohi, our Shepherd. Shalom, our Peace. Jireh, the God who sees and sees to it that we are provided for. Shammah, the God who is always present.

  7. REQUEST: May I be conscious of your everlasting kindness and mercies every morning. May I live my life knowing God is faithful even when I am not. May I walk in the authority that God is LORD and that He is my LORD. May I not be overwhelmed by the circumstances of life because I know God is Almighty, sufficient and more than enough.

  8. May my heart be tender and my ears sensitive to the voice of God. I will walk with no other gods alongside the only God. I will walk making no graven images that I would bow down to. I will not take the name of the Lord my God in vain. I will remember the Sabbath to keep it holy, because God is holy and He set the example of rest one day a week.

  9. May I never intentionally or unintentionally walk away from my first heartfelt love for God. May I walk in Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. May I walk in the strength of His might. Psalm 27:1b The LORD is the strength of life; of whom shall I be afraid?

  10. Psalm 28:7 - The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. I desire to be commended with these words from Revelation 2:3 and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name s sake and have not become weary.

  11. Ephesians 5:25 - Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her. Ephesians 5:28 - So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.

  12. REVELATION: Jesus is the Husband; He is the Bridegroom. Revelation 21:2 - Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

  13. The heavenly city will be beautifully adorned along with the bride who has made herself ready. The husband s headquarters will be ours. Revelation 21:3 - And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

  14. We praise our bridegroom who will wipe away every tear. We walk no more in death or sorrow or crying, no more pain. He will make everything new. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. We will inherit all things (Revelation 21:4-7). We are grateful for the example of Great Husband, Jesus who laid down his life for his church.

  15. Ephesians 5:25 - Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

  16. REQUEST: That we the bride might walk in knowledge knowing how much God desires to walk and be with us. That we the bride might walk in sanctification, holy and blameless. That we would be diligent to cleanse ourselves with the Word of God. That we would walk in submission to the bridegroom.

  17. That those who are wives would submit themselves to their own husbands as to the Lord. That those who are wives would respect their husbands. That men who are married would make sure their mate has quality time to be in the Word and love God.

  18. Those men might provide also a spiritual covering over their spouse. (Men if you are with your mate stop right now and pray over them. If your spouse is not with you, pray for those around you).

  19. Malachi 4:5-6 - Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD and he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse. (This verse Malachi 4:6, the closing of the Old Testament. This is vitally important!)

  20. REVELATION: God is our Father. We can pray Our Father Psalm 68:5 - A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows. . To those living without a spouse because of death or divorce.

  21. Thank him for the revelation of Jesus For unto us a children is born, unto us a Son given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Thank Him that He is our Ark of the Covenant. John 20:17b - I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.

  22. Isaiah 64:8 - But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; and we are all the work of Your hand. Thank you that you are the Father who sees in secret and will reward us openly (Matthew 6:4, 6, 18).

  23. James 2:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of light, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Thank Him for His promises: Luke 11:13 - If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

  24. REQUEST: May we walk as children of the light (Ephesians 5:8); as obedient children (I Peter 1:14). If we have provoked our children to wrath, may we be made aware and confess to our Father and be willing to make it right with our children (Ephesians 6:4).

  25. If I have never received parental blessing that I would walk in forgiveness and make sure I give blessings and affirmations to my spouse, children, and grandchildren; knowing Psalm 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take care of me. Let us be more diligent to encourage our people to pray in the Spirit. It is the promised gift from our heavenly Father.

  26. May we be intentional to provide places and times for people to pray and be prayed for, to receive the promise of the Father, the gift of Holy Spirit.

  27. For those who have children in the room, join together and pray for one another. Those who are not with family members, pray for one another around you. Pray for unsaved children. Pray for a nation that is under the curse of sin. Pray for righteousness to return that the nation may be exalted.
