  2. 11Wisdom is as good as an inheritance and an advantage to those who see the sun, 12because wisdom is protection as silver is protection; but the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of its owner. Ecclesiastes 7:11-22

  3. WISDOM IS STRENGTH Verse 19 Wisdom makes the wise person stronger than ten rulers of a city. Ecclesiastes 7:19

  4. Other advantages. Godly wisdom enables us to see things from an eternal perspective. Godly wisdom gives us the winner s perspective. Ecclesiastes 7:11-22

  6. Defining Wisdom Defining Wisdom Wisdom is the ability to apply the knowledge God gives us. To know what is right in His sight, and then to follow through, and do what is right.

  17. 3. Adversity can increase our dependency on God.

  18. Ecclesiastes 6:12 (NLT) Who can tell us what will happen on this earth after we are gone?

  19. Gods grace is present in both joy and sorrow.

  20. The whole point of both seasons in life, seasons of joy and seasons of adversity is that they would increase our dependency upon God.

  21. I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns. Philippians 1:6 (Living Bible) I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength! Philippians 4:13 But you belong to God my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. 1 John 4:4

  22. No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. Romans 8:37 NLT And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. Rom. 8:28 NLT
