Words to Know Motor home: a truck that has a couch, bed, and kitchen inside of it
Words to Know Road trip: when you go on vacation and drive to lots of places
Words to Know Alcoholic: some one who drinks too much alcohol (ex. beer or wine)
Words to Know Recovering Alcoholic: someone who goes to special meetings to get help to stop drinking alcohol
Words to Know Intervention: a meeting where people talk to someone and try to make them stop drinking
Words to Know Muscular Dystrophy: a disease that makes your muscles weak

Characters Seth andHenry are brothers. Wes is their dad. Seth talks a lot. Henry is very quiet. Seth and Henry when they are younger. Henry and Seth when they are older.
Chapter 1 Take Me With You is a story told by August.
Chapter 1 (continued) August is going on a road trip for the summer but his motor home breaks down.
Chapter 1 (continued) August asks Wes to fix his motor home.
Chapter 2 Wes gets arrested. Wes asks August to watch Seth and Henry until he gets out of jail.
Chapter 2 (continued) Wes says he is getting out of jail at the end of August.
Chapter 2 (continued) Wes tells August that he is going to jail because he wrote bad checks.
Chapter 3 August takes Seth and Henry on his road trip.
Chapter 3 (continued) Seth is sad his dad is going to jail but he is happy because he gets to call his dad 3 days a week.
Chapter 4 Seth talks all the time. Henry only talks to Seth, no one else.
Chapter 4 (continued) August tells Seth and Henry that he is a recovering alcoholic.
Chapter 5 August, Seth, and Henry travel to a lot of different states.
Chapter 5 (continued) They see a lot of cool things.
Chapter 6 August, Seth, and Henry go on a lot of walks and hikes. Sometimes they climb mountains.
Chapter 7 Henry is too little to climb to the top of some mountains. August stays with Henry and Seth climbs to the top.
Chapter 7 (continued) Seth becomes a very good climber.
Chapter 8 Henry starts talking to August too and not just Seth.
Chapter 8 (continued) Seth calls his dad 3 times a week to tell him about all of the cool stuff he sees.
Chapter 9 August goes to a meeting for recovering alcoholics.
Chapter 9 (continued) Seth asks to go with August. Seth wants to learn more about recovering alcoholics.
Chapter 9 (continued) Henry and Woody stay in the motor home.
Chapter 10 August finds out that Wes was lying to him. Wes is in jail for drinking and driving, not for writing bad checks.
Chapter 10 Wes is an alcoholic.
Chapter 11 Seth does not call his dad.
Chapter 11 (continued) Seth is mad that his dad lied to them.
Chapter 1 Seth says he wants to do an intervention for his dad when they get home. August says he will help Seth with the intervention.
Chapter 2 August and Seth go to another meeting for recovering alcoholics.
Chapter 2 (continued) Henry and Woody stay in the motor home. Henry takes Woody and runs away while August and Seth are in the meeting.
Chapter 3 Woody comes back to the motor home.
Chapter 3 (continued) The police find Henry and bring him back to the motor home.
Chapter 4 Henry is mad that the summer is almost over and that he will have to go back home, that is why he ran away. Henry wants to stay with August.
Chapter 4 (continued) August starts to drive back to Seth and Henry s house.
Chapter 5 They all get to Seth and Henry s house. August helps Seth do the intervention.
Chapter 5 (continued) Wes gets very mad at August and Seth. Wes does not want to become a recovering alcoholic like August.
Chapter 6 August, Seth, and Henry are all really sad that their road trip is over.
Chapter 6 (continued) August leaves Seth and Henry with their dad and drives home.
