Grades A - excellent B - very good C - good D - satisfactory E - poor F - fail P (pass) the student has acquired the knowledge and skills required; a positive outcome. MA (fail) the student has failed to acquire the knowledge and skills at the required level; a negative outcome. MI did not appear at the exam/assessment
Grades Grades only in the system of A-F can be obtained It is not possible to get a grade for a result marked as P on the transcript of credits! Please check the assessment method of all the courses carefully and make sure that it is accepted by your university.
Credit system European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) Exchange students have to follow their Learning Agreement. Changes need to be documented. You have to take as many ECTS credits as your home university requires 1 ECTS = 26 hours of work
Registration for classes At the beginning of each term you have to register for the classes that you are going to take. If you register for a class, you will have to take an exam/pass-fail test in this subject. Online registration deadline is September 9.
Registration for classes You can register online at the Studies Information System ( IS): ois2.tlu.ee TLU e-mail account from room S-203
Registration for classes If you have registered for a class at the beginning of the term, but decide to drop the subject, you can remove your name from the list during the first month of the semester (until the end of September) After September 9, consent is needed from the teacher/coordinator and changes can be made by writing an email to exchange@tlu.ee Classes usually start 08:15, 10:15, 12:15...
Exams You have to register for exams in IS (Performances - Search for performances) at least one working day before the exam. If you change your mind before the exam and decide to take it another time, you will have to cancel your registration at least one working day before the exam. If you fail to show up for the exam you have registered for, the result will be MI (did not attend). There are two dates for each exam. Exam results will be in IS two weeks after the exam.
Documents Upon arrival: * Learning Agreement changes by the end of September (signed by your Departmental Erasmus Coordinator) * Certificate of arrival (if required by your home), from the Academic Affairs Office (Ingrid Hinojosa, Incoming Mobility Senior Specialist) Before you leave: * Fill in the feedback survey in IS * Transcript of Records with your final results from the Academic Affairs Office (Ingrid Hinojosa, Incoming Mobility Senior Specialist) * Confirmation Letter from the Academic Affairs Office (Ingrid Hinojosa, Incoming Mobility Senior Specialist) * Return the books to the library and finish the contract with the dorm
