Division Goals for 2023 Lead in digital transformation in systems engineering as practiced by our Industry and Government partners Increase Division membership at all levels, and focus on Industry member employees Partner with more government Services, and Agencies in systems engineering Strengthen Committee membership and participation; Support Committee Chairs and Co-Chairs in visibility for their committee activities and collaboration across the Division Build on the successful 2022 SE&ME Conference Build strong relationships with other SE related professional organizations/societies (e.g.: INCOSE, SERC, SISO, OMG etc.) 3

Author notification by 30 June to ensure authors have enough time for approvals. Interaction with Authors: Track chairs and co-chairs will interact early with authors to answer questions, obtain slides, and assist as needed. Steering Committee Dr. Suzette Johnson leading this effort to increase communication with this group of advisors and to obtain marketing assistance. 2022 Attendees and Authors John Daly reaching out to this group seeking members and interaction. 2023 Conference Details Call for Abstracts Published last month to the NDIA website. Over 200 submittals to review at halfway point. All Track chairs and co- chairs will have access to the NDIA platform within 2 -3 weeks for early review, selection, and author notification. Monday Afternoon Available for Workshops. Four rooms available with 80-100 seating. Workshop idea: Align Presentations with Exhibitor Tools Leads are John Daly and Patrick Baines. Workshop idea: Host a Digital Engineering (DE) Debate Leads are Jon Backhaus and David Allsop. Keynote Speaker Search. Committee is seeking a DoD speaker. Annette has begun the process of submitting requests. Presentations and Awards. We have six tracks for 192 presentation time slots. There is some flexibility to add presentation time slots as we review submittals for panels. Moved awards to Wednesday luncheon and will add another luncheon if awards exceed time available. 13
