:
Vehicular Technology/High Speed Train and Maglev Standards
Committee (VT/HSTM SC) covers wheel-rail type high-speed trains that operate at
speed equal to or greater than 200 km/h and magnetic levitated system. It mainly
develops standards related to:
HSTM’s electrical systems, safety, reliability and operational maintenance. These
standards cover the HSTM’s train-borne electrical equipment, signaling and control system,
fixed installation on ground
Multiple projects identified, pending Standards Association Policy and
Procedures approval, to be followed by Project Authorization Requests (PARs)
