Mom remembered my birthday.  She
never forgets.
 
Have you remembered where you put
your favorite toy?
 
A porch is a room or area attached
to the outside of a house.
 
They sat outside and talked on the
front porch.
 
When was the last time you were
on a porch?
 
A crown is a head covering that
is often made of gold or jewels.
 
This girl wears a crown on her
head for her birthday.
 
Would you like to wear a crown?
Why or why not?
 
To spend is to use time or energy
to do something.
 
These girls spend time together.
They play every day.
 
What do you do when you have
extra time to spend?
 
When something is stuck, it is
attached to something else.
 
While on vacation, their car got
stuck in the mud.  It can’t move.
 
What things might get stuck
together?
 
When you visit, you go to see a
person or a place.
 
These grandparents like to visit.
They see their grandchildren a lot.
 
When did you visit someone?
Where did you go?
 
A cousin is the son or daughter of
your aunt or uncle.
 
My aunt and uncle have three
children.  Each child is my cousin.
 
Do yo have a cousin?
 
A piano is a large musical instrument
that you play by pressing keys on a
keyboard.
 
The father teaches his child to play
the piano, a musical instrument.
