State scholarship Is granted through the Ministry of Science and Education. Includes 1 year of Russian language preparatory course + programm (in case of education in Russian) totally 3 years. For education in English language - 2 years of Master Degree program are covered by scholarship) Scholarship covers: Tuition fee Stipend ($30/month) Scholarship does not cover: Medical insurance ($100-150) Dormitory Transfer Students are provided with a discount for: Transport in town (only Bd, Md, specialists) Food (university cantine) Dormitory ($15 instead of $50) Students are recommended to have $200-400/ month for living expenses 2
Documents 1. Candidate's application form with a color photograph attached. 2. Copy of the document on education with transcript of the courses taken and the (final) examination notes (points) in them. The school students are to provide the certificate of study in the graduate class with marks of the previous half-year. 3. Copy of medical certificate proving the absence of medical contradictions for study issued by an official health-care authority of the candidate's country of residence. 4. Copy of the medical certificate proving that the candidate does not have HIV and AIDS issued by an official health-care authority of the candidate's country of residence. 5. Copy of the passport (easy readable pages with basic data for issuing an invitation; passport must be valid at least 18 months after the start date of the entry visa for study purposes). 6. Copies of documents (certificates, diplomas, etc.) of participation and scores in various international and local competitions. NOTE: All the documents should have a notarized translation to Russian. The documents on education should have the apostille according to the law of the Russian Federation. 3
Timing and procedures A candidate applies to the program via Russian universities having a right to provide State Rosatom scholarships (e.g. TPU) The candidate takes part in an examination/ Olympiad/ interview on TPU on-line portal - http://iie.tpu.ru/tpu_contest/ The candidate prepares the documents, translated and legalized, and submits it to the university (March-June 2016). The university informs Rosatom officially about the list of candidates and submits the documents to Rossotrudnichestvo in Moscow (March-June 2016) The documents are reviewed by Rossotrudnichestvo; Ministry of education and science; university (May-August 2016) The invitation for the candidate is issued (August-September 2016) The candidate is given a visa and can start his program in Russia (September-October 2016)
