  2. What is The Phaseback DC Choke? An electromagnetic AC Filter Reduces AC noise from a DC circuit at all frequencies and all harmonics While unique in design, the DC Choke shares many common applications in various form factors

  3. What is The Phaseback DC Choke? The Phaseback DC Choke is not a power source, rectifier or output circuit It is a filter which cancels AC current in a DC circuit using the AC electromagnetic field Provides benefits not available in other chokes

  4. What distinguishes the Phaseback DC Choke from others? Phaseback DC Choke is a revolutionary product that takes advantage of a property called mutual counter-electromagnetic inductance. Unlike typical DC Chokes, it uses a combination of series and parallel opposing electromagnetic forces Because Phaseback s method of filtration does not rely solely on the eddy-current and hysteresis losses in the core for current control, its AC current reduction does not heat up the iron core; instead, it applies a counter-electromagnetic force The simplest benefit: Our design reduces AC noise at a rate exceeding 4 times a similarly sized traditional choke or inductor

Its original design intent was to: Remove electrical noise within the DC link of a Variable Frequency Drive Prevent equipment from feeding AC noise back into the power system Instead of dispersing electrical noise in the form of heat, Phaseback DC Choke simply dissipates the noise by beating it against itself, resulting in an electromagnetic suppression of AC noise. In applying the Phaseback DC Choke, we discovered an increase in overall system energy efficiency.
