Rejoice
in the Lord always. I will say it again:
Rejoice!

Let
your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is
near.

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything,
through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present
your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and
minds in Christ Jesus.

- Philippians 4:4-7

The Father
rejoices…

Zephaniah 3:17

The
Lord
 your God is with you,

the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;

in his love he will no longer rebuke
you,

but will
rejoice
 over you with
singing.”

Heaven & angels
rejoice…

Luke 15:7 & Luke 15:10

…I tell you, in the same way, there will be more
 joy
in
heaven over one sinner who repents than over
ninety-nine righteous people who don’t need
repentance.

…I tell you, in the same way, there is
joy
 in the
presence of God’s angels over one sinner who
repents.”

The Son & Spirit
rejoice…

Luke 10:21-22

At that time he
rejoiced
in the Holy Spirit and said, “I
praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, because you have hidden these things from
the wise and intelligent and revealed them to
infants. Yes, Father, because this was your good
pleasure.

All things have been entrusted to me by my
Father. No one knows who the Son is except the
Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and
anyone to whom the Son desires

to reveal him.”

Luke 10:17-20

The seventy-two returned with
joy
, saying, “Lord, even
the demons submit to us in your name.” He said to
them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like
lightning. Look, I have given you the authority to
trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power
of the enemy; nothing at all will harm you. However,
don’t
rejoice
 that

the spirits submit to you, but
rejoice
that your names are written in heaven.”
