WITHDRAWAL (W) FOR AGU UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
RULES OF WITHDRAWAL (UNDERGRADUATE REGULATION-CLAUSE 23) Withdrawal CLAUSE 23 (1) Students can withdraw from the courses they are registered for according to the rules stated below: a) Withdrawal can be made on the dates specified in the academic calendar. b) Advisor approval is required for withdrawal. c) You can withdraw from a maximum of one course in a semester. ) Students can withdraw from a maximum of four courses during the program they are enrolled in. d) Withdrawal cannot be made from courses in the first two semesters of the curriculum. e) Withdrawal cannot be made from previously withdrawn or repeated courses. f) Students who take courses at or below the minimum course load in a semester are not allowed to withdrawal. g) Courses from which the student withdraws are marked with the letter W on the transcript. These courses are not included in the GPA calculation.
WITHDRAWAL PROCESS AND DATES Dates for withdrawal are determined separately for the fall and spring semesters. These dates are included in the Academic Calendar of our University. The system is opened for the student and advisor on withdrawal dates. Withdrawal cannot be made without the approval of the advisor. Withdrawal process: It is the situation where the student is not held responsible for the course he/she has taken for that semester. The course is included in the student record and its grade is shown as W. W grade does not affect the student's average.
RULES OF WITHDRAWAL Withdrawal cannot be made in the first two semesters of the curriculum. Withdrawal cannot be made from previously withdrawn or repeated courses. Students who take courses at or below the minimum course load in a semester are not allowed to withdrawal. (MINIMUM COURSE LOAD: IN CLAUSE 19 OF THE UNDERGRADUATE REGULATION) The minimum course load of students in a semester is three courses that are included in the GPA calculation
FROM WHICH COURSES CAN I WITHDRAW? Not in the first two semesters of the curriculum; Compulsory, Elective, Taken outside the program, Withdrawal is possible.
REPEAT OF THE WITHDRAWAL Courses with a W grade must be repeated, except for courses taken outside the program. Instead of repeat elective courses, other elective courses can be taken within the framework of the curriculum. The last grade received in the repeated course is valid.. Extra courses taken with a W letter grade included in the average or not included in the average (in NC status) do not prevent graduation.
