  1. Warm-Up #1 August 24, 2015 These assignments will be placed in your composition book. Be sure to start on the 2nd page. The first few pages we will log the titles. Becoming an adult can be a daunting task. In a minimum of 100 words, explain what adulthood means to you. What is being an adult in your viewpoint?

  3. Warm-Up #3 August 26, 2015 These assignments will be placed in your composition book. Be sure to start on the 5thpage. Teen drivers have a lot more fun than older drivers. Teens also have more accidents. Some states are limiting how and when teens are able to drive. Based on your driving test results are you ready to drive? Why or Why Not? What did your results reveal about your driving knowledge? Based on your results do you agree or disagree that teens should be limited on driving privileges?

Do you agree with the speakers in both poems? Are there similarities between your life and the speakers? If so, what are they? Explain what the poems reveal about the relationship between parents and teenagers.

What is the purpose of the announcement? 4. Why did the filmmaker choose a teenage actor? 5. How does this technique make the message more appealing?
