RD Community Programs
USDA RD Community Programs provide essential support for developing and improving public services in rural communities with populations under 20,000. Through direct loans, loan guarantees, and grants, organizations such as hospitals, schools, daycare centers, and firehouses receive funding for crucial projects. The programs offer financial assistance at favorable interest rates to enhance community infrastructure, with recent examples including funding for new fire stations, educational equipment, and public safety vehicles. Eligible applicants can also benefit from grants for various projects, such as healthcare equipment, public buildings, and infrastructure improvements.
