  1. The Multinational Power Electronics Association PSMA 2020 Annual Planning Meeting Oct XXth 2020 YYYY, ZZZ Committee Chair(s) 1985-2020 PSMA is a not-for-profit organization and a CO-SPONSOR OF APEC

  2. Overall vision 2020-2025 - Sustenance & smart growth Pillar Progress to date Outlook & Suggestions Keep the good stuff (esp. workshops, roadmaps) Become more applications and problems oriented (ref. also 2nd template slide) Define and integrate metrics to monitor the parameters that matter (e.g. membership & committee participation) Engage more with stakeholders (internal and external, academic & industry)

  3. Overall vision 2020-2025 - Sustenance & smart growth Strategic focus Progress to date Outlook & Suggestions IoT Smart Mobility Energy Storage Internal and external synergies collaborations with committees, other associations, clusters, etc.

  4. Mission..A power sources industry ecosystem for the benefit of stakeholders Discuss Progress Enhance Educate Inform Guide Connect Publish Resource Fund Manufacturers Developers Suppliers Educators Integrators Users Funders Regulators

  5. Keeping (& nurturing) the good stuff Conferences and workshops* (ref next slide) Biennial PTR (power technology roadmap)* Technical reports (e.g. packaging, reliability..)* Applications energy efficiency, reliability, energy harvesting Tiger teams Short targeted initiatives managed by smart target team of experts *2019 survey gave strong indication of significant value add here

  6. PSMA-Sponsored Conferences, Workshops Re-scheduling www.EnerHarv.com Industry Sessions 3 days, 5 tracks, 120+ papers (3-17-20 to 3-20-20) Re-scheduling

  7. Becoming More Applications & Problems Oriented Technical Committees are great but we need more technology pull Need to examine industry problems and determine what combinations of technologies can help address the issues We need cross-disciplinarity to realize synergies between committees This still requires fundamental and disruptive technology development e.g. Energy harvesting = power management + storage + packaging + semiconductor + . e.g. Automotive = semiconductor + packaging + magnetics + reliability + storage + .

  8. KPIs - Metrics that matter Define the key performance indicators and measure them regularly Includes membership, finances, conferences, attendees, etc. but needs to capture Social media activity Stakeholder feedback and engagement Affiliated publications Success stories/use cases, etc. Need to put infrastructure (people & responsibilities) in place to make this happen

  9. Engage more with stakeholders Internal - More active exec committee Regular meetings (every 2 months) More strategic focused than monthly board meetings Assign champions to various initiatives External - Stronger interaction with other associations/clusters Ref next slide What are the other associations where we need stronger links? General - More diversity Younger professionals Female professionals Need to broaden our outreach esp. with schools and academic institutes Our nursery for future professionals 2019 survey indicated education should be a top 3 activity need to invest more heavily here
