The McGill Business Consulting Group conducted a project aimed at promoting energy-efficient practices at McGill University. The project involved researching behavioral tools to complement the Pulse Dashboard for energy conservation. Stakeholders included students, academic staff, and administration. The methodology included literature review, data collection through surveys and meetings, and interviewing various individuals related to the project. Findings highlighted the effectiveness of feedback, incentives, and disincentives across stakeholders. Students were eager to learn about sustainability but felt helpless, while professors were busy and overloaded. The project emphasized the importance of social media engagement for student involvement.
