  4. Problem of Practice Roles Presenter Shares the challenge to be discussed by the group. The presenter will share 1-2 takeaways with the full group after the protocol. Facilitator Guides the group through the protocol, watches time, and monitors the discussion. The facilitator may participate in the discussion although he/she often serves the group best by listening and using questions and comments to refocus the group, broaden the discussion, or summarize multiple points. Consultancy Group Mix of 3-5 other participants who discuss the presenter s challenge and provide feedback and counsel. 2018 |4

Problem of Practice Protocol Time Protocol Steps Presenter gives an overview of the challenge, describes context, and frames targeted question. 5 min Participants pose clarifying and probing questions and presenter restates targeted question. 10 min Consultancy group discusses and brainstorms solutions without Presenter engagement. 20 min 5 min Presenter reflects on group discussion. 2018 |5
