1.  
About
 :- কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর বিষয়ে, কোনো কিছুর উদ্দেশ্যে, একটি স্থানের অনেক দিক, কাছাকাছি সময় বুঝাতে 
about
 ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Examples:-

I know you are 
worried

These unfortunate deaths are

by for specific factor.
III.
In 1955, he led on expedition (অভিযান চালানো) of Eastern Island, a tiny speak of land

 Worried, brought, anxious, roam        about হয় এবং possessive Adjective: my, your, their, his
ইত্যাদির পূর্বে about হয়।
Examples:-

A man named Iphitas was 
concerned

 such wonderful strife.

Against
 :- অসম্মতি বা বিরুদ্ধ প্রকাশ করতে, বস্তুর সংস্পর্শে বা পাশাপাশি রাখা অর্থে 
against
 ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Examples:-
I.
The government should take positive action 
against
 criminals.
II.
He must take a fight 
against
 mosquitos.
III.
We are playing 
against
 the league champions next week.

Over
 :- বিশেষ কিছু phrase অনুসারে over ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন :- all over – সর্বত্র, preside over – সভাপতিত্ব করা,
run over – পিষ্ট হওয়া,
       weighing over – পরিমাপ করা, sweeping over – গ্রাস করা।
Examples:-
I.
Several devastating cyclones 
swept over 
Bangladesh.
II.
The sun brightly 
over
 the village.

After
 :- look, take, run, hanker, name, aspire, haunt ইত্যাদি words গুলোর পরে অর্থানুসারে after বসে এবং কোনো
sentence এর
      ‘পরে’ বুঝালে after বসে।
       look after – দেখাশুনা করা, take after – সাদৃশ্য বা একরকম হওয়া, run after – পিছনে ছুটা, hanker after – আকাঙ্খা
করা , name after-
       নামকরণ করা, aspire after – লোভ করা, haunt after – অণ্বেষন করা।
Examples:-
I.
The Olympic games were names 
after
 the town of Olympia in Greece.
II.
We should not run 
after
 money because those who hanker 
after
 money cannot enjoy mental peace.
III.
The Eiffel Tower of Paris named 
after
 Gustave Eiffel.
IV.
An honest man doesn’t run/aspire 
after
 money/rich.
V.
We should look 
after
 our parents.
VI.
He doesn’t haunt 
after
 traditional guide books.
VII.
I hope I will visit you 
after
 a week.
VIII.
He takes 
after
 his father.
IX.
I am very glad to receive your letter just
 after 
3 days.

From
 :- বাক্যে কিছু phrase অনুসারে from ব্যবহৃত হয়ে থাকে। যেমন :- abstrain from – বিরত থাকা, prevent from –
নিষেধ করা,
       hinder from – বিরত থাকা, deviate from – দূরে সরে থাকা/বিচ্যুত হওয়া, refrain from – বিরত থাকা/রাখা, suffer
from – ভুগা/কষ্ট পাওয়া,
       relief from – মুক্ত করা, different from – ভিন্ন/ব্যতিক্রম, prohibit from – নিষেধ করা, absent from – অনুপস্থিত,
escape from – রেহাই,
       result from – কোনো কিছু থেকে সৃষ্ট হওয়া, apart from – ছাড়া/ব্যতীত, leave from – বিদায় নেওয়া, depart from –
ছাড়া, daunt from –
       বিচ্যুত/বিরত হওয়া।
Examples:-
I.
He should abstain 
from
 evil deed/smoking.
II.
He prevented me 
from
 going there.
III.
He never deviates 
from
 his duties.
IV.
I hindered him 
from
 going abroad.
V.
Today man has been suffering 
from
 various diseases.
VI.
They give us relief 
from
 heavy pressure of regular work.
VII.
He prohibited me 
from
 doing that.
VIII.
He was absent 
from
 the meeting.
IX.
We have no escape 
from
 the death.
X.
Our misery result 
from
 vice.
XI.
Apart 
from
 heavy rainfall during the monsoon, we have one of the largest network of rivers in the world.
XII.
Cordellia took leave 
from
 her jealous sister with tears in her eyes.

At
 :- Small place (ছোট স্থান) –We live 
at
 Meghna in Cumilla.
               Time (সময়) – He came 
at
 5 o’clock.
                Direction (গতি) – He moves 
at
 a high speed.
                Cause (কারণ) – He is glad 
at
 the news.
                 Age (বয়স) – He died 
at
 the age of 60.
Phrase words
 :- at large, at best, at least, at sixes and sevens, at home, at all, at stake, at any rate, {mock at, laugh at smile at, sneer at}
উপহাস/বিদ্রুপ করা/হাসা, appear at(পরীক্ষা দেওয়া), call at(কোনো স্থানে গিয়ে দেখা করা), wink at(অন্যমনস্ক/উদাসীন), angry at(রাগান্বিত), open at(খোলা), good
at(দক্ষ), aim at(উদ্দেশ্য), at birth, at residence.
Examples
:-
I.
I shall appear at the exam this year.
II.
I called at the house.
III.
He is quite good at math.
IV.
I feel quite at home.
V.
This does not mean that we can live at many.
VI.
The ceremony begins at 2 p.m.
VII.
My parents were glad at my success.
VIII.
You request me to give a little luncheon at my residence in the noon.
