Exercise 1 Gratitude Recall all the people who have done good to you sometime . Helped , supported, cheered you up in distress .. Write down their names and how and when did they do you good. Have you thanked them sincerely for that? If not, will you like to do it today ?
Exercise 2 Self-observation Good Qualities Bad qualities What I have at present ... . . What I don t have at present .. .. .
Exercise 3 Detached Observation Recall your best friend and fill in the following table remember the attitude while doing this exercise should be non-judgmental, non-reactive , loving kindness Good Qualities Bad qualities What (s)he has at present ... . . What (s)he doesn t have at present .. .. .
Exercise 4 Seeking pardon ! Recall the people you might have hurt or harmed knowingly or unknowingly. Note down their names and the instance this happened. Have you sought pardon from them for that transgression ? If not, .would you like to do that today ?
Exercise 5 Forgiveness Recall the people who might have hurt or harmed you knowingly or unknowingly.. Note down their names and the instance this happened. Have you forgiven them for that transgression ? If not, .would you like to do that today deep inside your heart ?
