Regional Haze Planning Work Group Co-Chairs David Stroh, ND DEQ Amber Potts, WY DEQ List of WRAP state submittal dates and EPA completeness letter dates Planning for RHR3 1-year clock has triggered (completeness letters) for EPA to act EPA actions will inform the RHPWG and the RTOWG of the next steps RHR2 progress reports (8 steps) Rely heavily on IMPROVE and Emissions(NEI+ data) Parallel path with RHR3 planning WRAP to work with other MJOs to request EPA perform baseline* modeling for RHR3 *Need to determine what appropriate emissions to use (e.g., 2022, 2023NEI) Planning for a ~15-minute presentation followed by QA or Open Mic

Fire & Smoke Work Group Co-Chairs Paul Corrigan - USFS Bob Kotchenruther - U.S. EPA Region 10 Matt Pace AZ DEQ Current workgroup activity & focus Monthly FSWG meetings and bi-monthly EE group meetings Review outcomes and synthesis of Nov 2022 in-person meeting For FSWG, current focus on sharing smoke communication tools Survey of WG members to collect info on how they communicate with public about wildland fire smoke Short presentations by 4 states and USFS on public communication tools and methods For EE group, tracking EE web app development by WRAP/WESTAR and SCAQMD

Oil & Gas Work Group Co-Chairs Amanda Brimmer U.S. EPA Region 8 Mark Jones New Mexico Environment Department Matt Wampler Southern Ute Indian Tribe Annual OGWG Survey Results (Draft Report Finalized) Draft report sent to survey participants (March 2023). Met with survey participants for review and comment (antic. mid-April 2023). Co-chairs and Program Manager noted main convergence areas in draft report, which included: Analyzing data for upstream/midstream sectors (top priority). Focusing on training, securing grants for regional work, managing contractor-supported analyses, and supporting detailed regional emissions inventories. Next OGWG Regular Meeting Will Be Scheduled Late Spring 2023 (Tentative Agenda) Discuss survey report with the larger OGWG membership. Gather input on areas of convergence and top recommendations captured in the survey, how these results could guide the work of the OGWG, and formulate a plan for moving forward. Agency roundtable (Initiatives/Rulemaking/Legislative changes) Consider potential additional WG tasks and any other WG member feedback.

Regional Technical Operations Work Group Co-Chairs Gail Tonnesen, U.S. EPA Region 8 Kevin Briggs, CDPHE Mike Barna, NPS Arrange presentation for April WESTAR meeting Status of IMPROVE network and RHR monitoring Jenny Hand (CIRA/CSU) and Scott Copeland (CIRA/USDA Forest Service) Plan for upcoming joint RTOWG & RHPWG call to discuss WRAP technical products for 2ndround of RHR SIP
