FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ASA During the 2022/23 financial year, an amount of R 6 000 000 (Six Million Rands) was transferred to ASA by DSAC for; R 2 000 000-00 (Two Million Rands) for administration, and R 4 000 000-00 (Four Million Rands) for programmes and projects. Note: During the COVID era, DSAC increased (accepted) higher than usual amounts for administration to ensure that Federations were not severely affected by the decreases in their revenue streams. The 2023/24 financial year is the last year that such high administrative costs are approved as most of the funding should be directed towards programme implementation.
