OSHA's Enforcement Update discussed various initiatives including the Severe Violator Enforcement Program (SVEP), Novel Cases, and enforcement strategies for ergonomics and workplace violence. The presentation highlighted statistics on SVEP cases, novel enforcement cases, ergonomic inspections, and workplace violence investigations across different industries. OSHA's efforts in addressing severe and recalcitrant employers were emphasized, along with plans for further development in enforcing workplace safety regulations.
