NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Award (NIH F30, F31, or F31-Diversity) Supports promising predoctoral students an opportunity to receive mentored research training while they complete their dissertation research on human health-related topics. 3 Categories: F31: intended for predoctoral students in PhD programs working on biomedical research F31-Diversity: aims to increase the diversity of the health-related research workforce by supporting underrepresented racial and ethnic groups and those with disabilities F30: intended for predoctoral students in dual-degree training programs who integrate research and clinical training
Foundation for Physical Therapy Research PODS I & PODS II Awards Fund post-professional doctoral students, who, having completed one full year of coursework, wish to continue their studies or have entered the dissertation phase of their post-professional doctoral program Scholarship Categories: PODS I: support of the coursework phase of post-professional doctoral studies prior to candidacy (as defined by the applicant s institution) and renewable for a maximum of one additional year PODS II: support of the post-candidacy phase of post-professional doctoral studies and renewable for a maximum of one additional year Combined PODS II/NIFTI: support of the final year of the post-candidacy phase + the first two years of the research fellowship
NSF Graduate Student Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP) Supports outstanding graduate students who have demonstrated the potential to be high achieving scientists and engineers, early in their careers. Provides three years of support over a five-year fellowship period Eligibility criteria: be a US citizen, US national, or permanent resident intend to pursue a research-based Master s or Ph.D. program in a GRFP- supported field be at an early stage in your graduate career have completed no more than one academic year of full-time graduate study (or the equivalent)
