  4. General HR Updates Quick introduction to/by Cheri Carley, DCHRO COVID-19 Updates No changes to operations or processes at this time Continue to follow state guidelines Southern Nevada Health District handling vaccinations on campus - HR not involved

  5. HR Professional Development Updates 1. Both HR PD Emotional Intelligence 4-part series and HR PD Cultural Intelligence 4-part series are full. a. If you have not yet registered and would like to attend, please add your name to the waiting list. b. We try and accommodate as many people as possible. c. Emotional Eating: the Connection Between Mood and Food iii. Managing Your Emotions in the Workplace b.   6. Salary Admin Contact Connie Nolan Welcome Amber Kotula, Personnel Analyst. Responsible for salary administration team 3 areas. Remind faculty and PTI to approve their agreements for spring semester. Use the new LOA Salaried agreement at the HR website - https://www.unlv.edu/hr/alpha- index#L Pursuant to Assembly Bill (AB) 3 passed by the Nevada State Legislature during the 31st Special Legislative Session, employees are required to take furlough at a 4.6 percent monthly reduction in compensation from January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021. Pooled hourly jobs - end or terminate student records. Review temporary (1,000) hourly numbers.

  7. Benefits and Leave Contact Lily Magana Absence: Furlough reminders: Furlough can not be taken on holidays Furlough can not be taken while on FMLA leave Furlough report is still being worked on. Department Managers can utilize the following report: Time Off Results Summary Benefits: Separation/termination reminders: For an employee: A separation/retirement can be initiated on Workday Employee s can upload NDP-45 or resignation letter on Workday An employee offboarding checklist is available to ensure all necessary steps are completed prior to leaving For Supervisor/Manager: An offboarding checklist for management is available to assist in ensuring all necessary steps have been completed prior to separation

  10. Time Entry - display enhancement Enhancement to deploy on Friday, January 14 Time Entry display will include sup org with position Filled Positions by Organization Where Any Position in Organization -HCM -CR (NSHE)

  11. W-2s now available in Workday Employees are now able to receive electronic copies of their W-2s for 2018 and later years. A job aid is available with instructions for how to access W-2s 2018 and 2019 W-2s are available for download now. 2020 documents will be available in Workday at the end of January 2021 Paperless elections from ADP do not carry over into Workday. To discontinue receiving paper tax documents, please reference the job aid or contact the Workday Support Team at workdaysupport@unlv.edu Reference: Business Affairs Headlines

  12. Monthly Check Printing Payments Accounts Payable will print and mail paper checks for suppliers once a month during the COVID-19 pandemic. Drive-up services are provided. The check(s) will be delivered to your vehicle at the south entrance to CSB at the scheduled time. Please have your UNLV employee I.D. available at the time of pickup. Accounts Payable has scheduled monthly check pick-up and distribution for the rest of the year: Wednesday, January 27 To arrange check pickup, please email racquel.rodriguez@unlv.edu prior to 7 p.m. the day before the distribution date. Please contact accountspayable@unlv.edu for any urgent payments
