The PhD Nursology Program at Hampton University In 1999, Hampton University School of Nursing established the first ever PhD in Nursing [program] at a Historically Black College and University (Hampton University School of Nursing, n.d.; http://nursing.hamptonu.edu/page/Doctoral- Program) Program focus is the Black family
The PhD Nursology Program at Hampton University Program developmental and implementation was funded by the Teagle Foundation as the Hampton-Penn (University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing) Initiative (Hutchinson, M.
