NAPPO, the North American Plant Protection Organization, provides a platform for collaboration among Canada, the United States, and Mexico to safeguard agricultural and plant resources while promoting safe trade. Through developing regional standards, conducting workshops, and engaging stakeholders, NAPPO aims to harmonize plant health approaches and ensure transparency. The organization's teams and expert groups work diligently to address emerging pests, conduct surveillance projects, and build technical capabilities for better protection of plant resources.
