Mythical Creatures Research Project Overview
Students in 6th grade will be assigned a research paper on mythical creatures. The project includes a detailed scoring rubric, mandatory and elective questions, web sources, and guidelines for citing sources. The students will use NRMS iPads and/or other approved technology for research. The due date is December 15, 2014, with specific classroom and library research dates scheduled.

6th grade will be assigned to compose a research paper with the topic of mythical creatures. There will be several grades associated with this project, and a summative test grade for this project. On part of this report, students will use NRMS s IPads and / or student technology. NRMS students have already signed a proper use agreement form with the office to use technology. This will include use of the student s smart phone or use of NRMS devise as instructed and approved by his/her Language Arts teacher. Any deviations from proper use of technology may result in 1) loss of use of technology,2) technology turned in to office and/or 3) an office referral.
