   COMBINED     JOIN       PLUS
Multiplication Key Words
 
There are a few words that signal a problem
is asking you to multiply. These are:
   EQUAL GROUPS
   TIMES AS MANY
    EACH
    PRODUCT

Find and write the key words in each problem.

Alayna has 3 cookies. Josh has 4
times as many cookies as Alayna.
How many cookies does Josh
have?
2.
Janae bakes cupcakes. She puts
them in 4 rows with 5 cupcakes in
