  3. PROJECT OVERVIEW WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN AND WHY

  4. REASON WHY WE NEED A NEW RECRUITING SOLUTION Wisc.Jobs is running on 20-year old technology Technology is no longer supported Not mobile friendly No connection to PeopleSoft Outdated look and feel Limited ability to target or promote recruitments on page or social media, etc.

  5. PROJECT GOAL Create an enterprise-wide recruiting solution that begins with Request to Fill and ends with the hire in PeopleSoft HCM Processes are integrated Eliminate as much paper as possible Includes flexible workflow Allows for data analysis and metrics

  6. PROJECT SCOPE PHASE 1 Implement two PeopleSoft Recruiting Solutions modules PeopleSoft Candidate Gateway Public/applicant-facing website where applicants will apply for jobs PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) Will replace HR Admin functionality within Wisc.Jobs and will also have new functionality Create a new, modern Wisc.Jobs website that integrates with TAM This will be the primary search vehicle for applicants that pushes applicants to Candidate Gateway to apply for jobs

PROJECT SCOPE PHASE 2 Implement Enterprise Request to Staff (RTS) Enterprise tool for submitting and approving positions for hire (supervisor through Deputy to HR) RTS will be in a Phase 2 implementation roughly 4-6 months after initial TAM implementation Implement additional features of TAM such as generation of Appointment Letters

HOW WE GOT HERE The information you see on the pages is a result of large design team meetings, work groups, internal discussion and initial testing Various needs exist across the enterprise, and we have worked to address those as they come up What you see today is not the final product, so your feedback is extremely important!

STRUCTURE OF UAT SESSIONS This is the first UAT session and lays the foundation for future UAT sessions Will start sessions with a review of job aids, how to document what you see in testing, and a demonstration of what you should test/practice in the system For the remainder of the 2-hour session, spend time creating and applying for jobs Remain on the Skype call and type or ask questions along the way We will be able to answer your questions throughout the session

STRUCTURE OF UAT SESSIONS Once the session is over, you will continue to have access to the environment and should continue creating and applying for jobs and documenting your feedback If you have questions along the way or get stuck, contact Nicole Zimm (nicole.zimm@wisconsin.gov) Submit all written feedback by Noon on Tuesday, October 27thto Brianna Schreier (brianna.schreier@wisconsin.gov) Attend the wrap-up/feedback session on October 28that 2pm If we have updated functionality for you to review/test, we will send an email out and ask you to test it and provide feedback

  12. FUTURE UAT SESSIONS NOVEMBER THROUGH DECEMBER Future UAT sessions include: Creating & Managing Questionnaires Rating, Registers and Certifications Interview/Offer Process Hire Process Transfers

ONGOING ACCESS TO UAT SYSTEM You will continue to have access to the UAT system throughout most or all of the UAT sessions You can move around to other pages and try out functionality, but please be aware that not all final development/configuration is in the UAT system yet so the pages may not be the final pages and the functionality may not work yet

ITEMS COVERED BY THIS UAT SESSION Primary focus is creating Job Openings/Postings and applying for Jobs You should start with a simple Job Opening and then you can make it more complicated as you become more comfortable with the system We are not creating assessments as part of this that will be done in a future UAT session

  15. ITEMS COVERED IN CREATING A JOB OPENING We will be focusing on the following pages/tabs with TAM when creating a Job Opening

  16. THINGS TO THINK ABOUT AS YOU MOVE AROUND IN THE SYSTEM Is everything I need on the page? Are things I don t need on this page? Is information pulling forward correctly? Am I getting error messages? What would improve the page? Is the process to apply for a job easy to follow?

LOG IN AND START CREATING AND APPLYING FOR JOBS Click on the links within the job aids to start the testing process Reminder, prior to accessing Candidate Gateway, you must be logged into the regular UAT site Type a question or speak up if you have any questions/comments for the remainder of the session.
