Depute Head Teacher
Ms Booth is a DHT and she is responsible for
Learning, Teaching and Assessment, ICT and
Digital Learning, Parents’ Evenings, Tracking and
Reporting and SQA.
Ms Booth is also link DHT for Sinclair House,
English, Humanities, the Library, Modern Foreign
Languages and our PT Digital Learning.

Mr G Cowie
Depute Head Teacher
Mr Cowie is responsible for Curriculum and
Timetable, Raising Attainment, Performance
Data Analysis, Ethos, Culture and Conduct,
Promoting Positive Relationships, Fund Raising
and Charities.
Mr Cowie is link DHT for Forbes House, Creative
Arts, Maths and Technical Education.
Mrs S McGill
Cluster Business
Manager
Mrs McGill is the Business Manager for the
Ellon Cluster and a member of the Ellon
Academy Senior Leadership Team.
This involves managing non-teaching support
staff, school budgets and resources,
Emergency Planning, and Health and Safety.
Mrs McGill also links with Aberdeenshire HR,
Staffing, Finance, Property, Community, Live
Life, Health and Safety and Duke of Edinburgh.
Mrs P Waugh
PT Guidance
Cheyne House
Mrs Waugh is responsible for all the pupils in Cheyne House.
This involves supporting and advising young people with a
range of pastoral, curricular, relationship and pathway
planning guidance.
Mrs Waugh links with ASL, the Pupil Development Team,
External Agencies and Mr McLachlan DHT, who is the Senior
Leadership Team member with the overview of Cheyne
House.
Miss N Jeffrey
PT Guidance
Forbes House
Miss Jeffrey is responsible for all the pupils in Forbes House.
This involves supporting and advising young people with a range of
pastoral, curricular, relationship and pathway planning guidance.
Miss Jeffrey links with ASL,
the Pupil Development Team, External
Agencies
and Mr Cowie DHT who is the Senior Leadership Team
member with the overview of Forbes House.
Miss Jeffrey is currently Chair of the Guidance Team and an Associate
Member of SLT.

Keith House
Mr Findlay is responsible for all the pupils in Keith House.
This involves supporting and advising young people with a
range of pastoral, relationship, curriculum and pathway
planning guidance.
Mr Findlay links with ASL, the Pupil Development Team,
External Agencies and Mr McLachlan DHT who is the Senior
Leadership Team member with the overview of Keith House.

House.

Leadership Team member with the overview of McDonald
House.

the School Counsellor on improving
outcomes for young people.
Mrs. P. Buchan serves as the Rector with responsibilities for strategic leadership, Ms. T. Booth is the Depute Head Teacher overseeing learning and assessment, Mr. N. Corser focuses on workforce development and partnerships, Mr. F. McLachlan handles pupil support and well-being, Mr. G. Cowie manages curriculum and raising attainment, and Mrs. S. McGill serves as the Cluster Business Manager. Together, they lead the Ellon Academy team towards success and excellence in education.

Mrs P Buchan Rector Mrs Buchan is responsible for Ellon Academy, pupils and staff. Her remit includes whole school strategic leadership of learning, School Self-Evaluation, Management of Resources and links with parents and partners.
