thoughts

voice to deliver your
message and onboard
your audience

empathy with your audience
4- Solution :
 What do you offer to
solve this issue ?

fill in
the pitch sentence
and the canva, for
your own project !

Step 3 : Write your story
thanks to story telling

What is it ?
A way of pitching your project by
telling a
story.

You can tell a story to introduce your project. It can refer to
your
personal journey
and what led you to choose this
project. Or you can introduce your solution
by
telling the story of a
potential beneficiary.

The idea is to get your audience
on board and allow
them to identify
with what you are sharing.

Step 3 : Write your story,
your WHY

WHAT ?
What the organization does ? Which
products and services does it offer ? Sell ?
HOW ?
How do you do it ? It is what
differentiates some organizations from
competition, what makes them special.
WHY ?
The reason why the organization exists.
What is its purpose ?

Step 3 : your turn !

On your own, take
10 minutes to
find
the story you would
like to tell around
your own project !
Step 4 : Use body language
to deliver your message

Hands
Try to pay attention a
the way you use your
hands : do you cross
your arms ? Do you
hide them ? Do you
use them to talk ?

Voice
While speaking, take
your time ! It’s ok to
pause from times to
times and don’t
forget to breath.

Feets
Make sure your feets
are well grounded.
Imagine you have an
antenna through
your body which
make you stand
straight

Step 4 : Let’s practice your
pitch !
30’

Practice in groups of 3
One by one, present your small pitch
The rest of the group will actively listen and
provide constructive feedback
Some last tips for your
jury presentation

Make sure you respect your
timing

You want to use a powerpoint Presentation ? It’s not
mandatory but if you want to do so,
make it visual and
the least text possible

Even though a pitch is usually delivered by 1 or 2
person(s), you will be
in group
tonight : make sure
everyone is included and is aligned with the project

You feel better with notes ? We encourage you to try
without them but if you don’t feel comfortable to do so,
at least
try to read the least possible

Most important of all :
HAVE FUN
!

Thank you for
your attention !
