Manhasset Soccer Club Field Usage for Manhasset Valley Field Fall 2020
Field Use Protocols: Manhasset Valley Field Team Responsibilities - Each Team is responsible for all participants from their Team using this facility and must ensure that their Team abides by these Field Use Protocols as well as all LIJSL, NYCL and NY State Guidelines. Failure to abide by these protocols may result in removal from this facility. Max Supporters Allowed per Team - We request that a maximum of one (1) supporter for each player attend, but will allow a maximum of two (2) supporters per player in accordance with Reopening New York State Sports and Recreation mandatory physical distancing requirements Entering/Exiting the Fields Pre-Match: Teams should NOT enter the facility until 30 minutes prior to their match and may not entering the playing field area, or take a position on the touchlines (soccer sidelines), until AFTER the prior match is completed AND the teams, players, coaches and spectators have left. Accessing Fields Players, trainers and team volunteers should enter through the gate closest to the Baseball Field. Players, trainer and team volunteers should exit through the gate opposite team benches, by the spectators stands. Masks/Face Coverings Players/Coaches/Trainers/Parent Managers - A mask/face covering MUST BE WORN from the time you leave your vehicle until you reach your designated location at the field. Coaches/Trainers/Parent Managers must continue to wear masks/face coverings when not actively instructing and not a minimum of 6-feet from any other coach, player or referee. Post-match, a mask/face covering MUST BE WORN from the time you leave your designated location at the field until you enter your vehicle. Spectators i.e. Parents/Guardians Field Access - A mask/face covering MUST BE WORN from the time you leave your car to access the field until the time you return to your car at the conclusion of the game.
Spectator Protocols: Manhasset Valley Field HOME team spectators HOME team spectators should sit directly across from the HOME team bench in the stands At no time should any non-team member enter the field area the field is for team members ONLY VISITING team spectators VISITING team spectators should sit directly across from the HOME team bench in the stands At no time should any non-team member enter the field area the field is for team members ONLY ALL SPECTATORS ARE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FIELD IMMEDIATELY AT THE COMPLETION OF YOUR GAME.
Post-Match Protocols: Manhasset Valley Field At completion of match: NO handshakes between players, coaches as well as referees Players & Coaches should acknowledge opposing teams and referee(s); clapping, thumbs-up Teams and spectator immediately gather personal belongings, equipment and with face coverings on, leave immediate field area. NO post-match discussions there. ALL SPECTATORS ARE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FIELD IMMEDIATELY AT THE COMPLETION OF YOUR GAME.
