6. What is LUCA? Membership organisation run by the members Member = athletics clubs (n=23) Club representatives meet three times a year at the LUCA Council

7. How is LUCA run? Events are organised by sub-committees. The head of each sub-committee sits on the executive committee

8. How is LUCA run? The president runs the exec committee and sits on the board of trustees, along with the Chairperson and other members

9. How is LUCA run? Club reps sit on the council and can vote on decisions / policies the exec has to enact these.

10. What is the problem now? Problem 1 lack of volunteers and council meetings Lack of events (COVID) Lack of Council meetings Lost link between athletes/clubs and LUCA Not held for a long time

11. What is the problem now? Problem 2 Rising costs, declining income Rising costs of overheads, facilities etc. Declining entries Fewer events Smaller clubs

13. What is the problem now? Problem 3 Bank account closed Lost access to approx. 1600 Invoicing is slower Cash flow more complicated

14. What have we done so far? Problem 1 lack of volunteers Christian and Abhilash have been absolute legends Events have run but outdoors will be limited to one event Need more volunteers to keep events going

15. What have we done so far? Problem 2 Rising costs, declining income Alumni club, Motspur AC has loaned 1348 interest free to help cash flow Increase in the fees for outdoors Need to address fees across the competitions and seek ways to reduce overheads
