Most longhouses were made of wood but some were metal
Every person had to cook, eat, and live in one longhouse
There are about 6-7 longhouses in one village
As in the name longhouses they are very large to fit
everyone
The oldest woman is always chief of the longhouse

.The head of the clan has to choose the chief
.The head of the clan gives advice and shares wisdom
.As a clan together they enjoy having festivals together
.There are stories , dancing and singing
