octogenarian (noun) Sentence: My grandfather, who is an octogenarian, was in his mid-twenties when Russia launched Sputnik, the first artificial satellite, into outer space. Definition: a person who is between 80 and 89 years old
quintessence (noun) Definition: most perfect example of its type Sentence: Kim Kardashian has always been the quintessence of high fashion, so I was taken aback when I saw her wearing an old, saggy pair of jeans and a ragged T-shirt. the fifth and highest element in ancient and philosophy that exists in all nature
septennial (adjective) Definition: occurring or being done every seven years; consisting of or lasting for seven years Sentence: Every seven years, my town holds a septennial celebration on a Saturday to honor the lucky number seven.

pentacle (noun) Definition: a shape that is like a star with five points formed by five straight lines and that is often used as a magic or religious symbol Sentence: My aunt, who is very superstitious, wore a pentacle around her neck to protect her from evil.
