The foundation you lay at the beginning of the year, will determine the rest of the months of the year 1. 2. Good Planning Jeremiah 29:11 KJV For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. -Our God is a planner Habakkuk 2:2 KJV And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Psalm 37:4 KJV Delight thyself also in the Lord ; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - Be precise and have a vision for the year - Faith involved planning -What do you want see at the end of the year Proverbs 29:18 KJV Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. -We are driven by the vision we have. - Plan your time, resources Ephesians 5:16 KJV Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. -God is a great planner, He plans thousands of years ahead.
3. TAKE YOU PLAN BEFORE THE LORD IN PRAYER AND FASTING Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. James 4:13-14 KJV Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: [14] Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
4. GIVING GOD YOUR FIRST FRUIT Proverbs 3:9 KJV Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: Luke 6:38 KJV Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. - It's important to raise a financial altar at the beginning of the year 2 Corinthians 9:10 KJV Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
5. UNITY - Bring together the team involved in fulfilling the vision Genesis 11:3-6 KJV And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. [4] And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. [5] And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. [6] And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
