Latvian Testbeds in Livestock Farming with Raimonds Jakovickis
Situation analysis of Latvian testbeds managed by Raimonds Jakovickis, an expert in livestock farming, at the Union Farmers' Parliament. The testbeds at Ltd. MPS Vecauce involve testing cows equipped with electronic ear tags, with recent improvements in farm infrastructure and results reported in December 2019. Mineral feed supplements from BalticAgro were delivered, and data from the Agricultural Data Center of Latvia is utilized for animal recording and milk data.

2 TESTBEDS FARMS Ltd MPS VECAUCE ~ 650 cows Training and Research Company Vecauce of Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies , and e.g. used for agricultural students practice. Farm Rudeni ~ 300 cows Family farm.
Ltd MPS VECAUCE Tests started inAugust 2019 Test cows equiped with electronic ear tags November 2019 Hening visited farm and replaced existing cables and power supplies with new. Changed of dosing aggregates and changed of the slave unit (they also are connected by the new cables with new connectors).

MINERAL FEED SUPPLEMENTS Good corporation with holding BalticAgro company Vilomix Baltic August 2019 delivered totally1240 kg Maize Startlac To farm Rudeni - 620 kg To farm Vecauce - 620 kg October 2019 from Rudeni to Vecauce deliver 500 kg During project totally was callculated 3182 kg of feed supplements for both farm 1942 kg left
AGRICULTURAL DATA CENTER REPUBLIC OF LATVIA Animal recording in Latvia Cattle register Milk recording data All data herd owner can transfer from register by CSV files and chooses neccessary information reproduction, insemination, etc.
