Jesus' Parable of the Unrighteous Steward in Luke 16:1-13
In the parable of the unrighteous steward, Jesus tells of a steward who wastes his master's goods, leading to his dismissal. However, the steward cleverly resolves his situation by reducing the debts owed to his master. Surprisingly, the master commends him for his shrewdness. Jesus then imparts the lesson of using earthly wealth wisely to gain eternal rewards. He emphasizes the importance of faithfulness in handling both small and large matters, highlighting the need to be faithful with what is entrusted to us.
