Scenario 1: You win $1,000 in a local contest. What do you
do with the money? Why did you make that decision?
 
Scenario 2: You want to work as a freelance writer and
photographer someday, writing travel blogs and taking photos
of the exotic places you visit. How will you get people to pay
you for your stories or photos? What are your options? How
do you know?
 
Scenario 3: You’re offered jobs with two different employers.
The pay is $20,000 better at Job 1, but Job 2 has a casual
dress code and Fridays off. Which job do you choose? Why?

The upcoming slides are to be used as a guideline. You are free to change depending on personal preferences and style. JA recommends adding visuals (either photos or video) to your presentation. If you are using either, please ensure that they are appropriate for the classroom. To ensure that the presentation will run smoothly, please send the PowerPoint to the teacher ahead of time (at least 24 hours) and have them test the videos to ensure they clear the school’s firewall protections. If the PowerPoint is unable to be sent, please bring a flash drive (or the link to access your presentation digitally) with you to the classroom. Arrive early (10-15 minutes) to ensure that the PowerPoint is able to be accessed and videos are able to be projected.

To keep brand fidelity do not change the Junior Achievement logo.
