Purpose The purpose of this presentation is to: provide a summary of ISO 10018:202X, Quality management systems Guidelines on people engagement. Note: Although this standard is intended to address these concepts in relation to quality management systems and standards, they can be applied to other management systems, standards, and disciplines. Note: Quality culture is further addressed in detail in ISO 10010 ISO/TC 176/TG 01
Introduction Introduction to ISO 10018:202X This standard provides gives guidelines for engaging people in an organization s quality management system and on enhancing their involvement and competence within it. People engagement is the emotional commitment that people have to the organization and its goals. Their engagement with the quality management system is an extension of this emotional commitment. Main Changes This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 10018:2012). Main changes of the ISO 10018:202X revision in accordance with the revised ISO Quality Management principles, "people involvement" has been changed to "engagement people"; the different clauses have been linked to those in ISO 9001:2015. competence has been transferred from ISO 10018 to the revised ISO 10015. ISO/TC 176/TG 01
