-9th grade individual state tournament:  2 place winners
 
-Youth state tournament:  20 qual’d (9 last year)
 
-5 high school qual’d for state (record) (2 place winners)
 
-First Girl to qualify for state and place 3rd!
 
-Added Monday’s for Rumble Tumble
 
-Increase in involvement of parents helping coach
 
-Largest Fundraisers in our history (2nd year in a row)
 
-New mats at both locations, New youth singlets

Middle School:  37 and 31

Freestyle (Mar-Apr):  Thunderbolts or Summit.
 
Summer camps find a couple of buddies and go: Other private programs like MN Elite,
Pinnacle, Summit, Victory, etc.  (Note all 5 of our state qualifiers are in victory and summit)

AAA or AA teams:  approx 10%
b.
Take 1st at tourneys, qualify and place at state tourneys
 
20 of the 28 qualifiers from section 2AAA wrestle full time.  Our team needs all types to
be successful, each kid is mentally at different levels and that is ok!!!!  Some kids are elite
for a year and then take a break.  We want them being competitive in 6th grade during
middle school and really take ownership of their wrestling.
 
District boundaries changed:  More kids at Scott Highlands from
the youth program.

The Irish Youth Wrestling program had a successful season with growth in numbers, tournament wins, and achievements at various levels. They aim to build a strong wrestling family and keep kids engaged in the sport. The season saw significant improvements and involvement from coaches, parents, and wrestlers. Successes include increased participation, notable tournament performances, and accomplishments by individual wrestlers. The program's future includes freestyle wrestling events, summer camps, and volunteer opportunities to continue the momentum.
