Suggested proverbs: What does this proverb mean? every cloud has a silver lining (= very sad or difficult situation has a positive side) make hay while the sun shines (= to make good use of opportunities, good conditions etc. while they last) It s raining cats and dogs. (=It is raining heavily.) it never rains but it pours. (=When troubles come they come together.)
