Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) Introduction : National Health Programme under National Health Mission (NHM) Launched as project in year 2004 & continued as programme from 12thfive year plan (2012-17) Budgetary outlay of Rs. 640.04 Crore from domestic budget only Objectives : To strengthen/maintain decentralized laboratory based IT enabled disease surveillance system for epidemic prone diseases To monitor disease trends To detect and respond to outbreaks in early rising phase through trained Rapid Response Team (RRTs).

Any RRT member from Medical College? b) How many outbreaks have been investigated by the RRTs in last one year? Has training on IDSP part of IHIP (Integrated Health Information Platform) been completed for District & Below? a If no then when is it likely to be undertaken ? b.Availability of data entry facility for IHIP at PHC and above : -Computer system with internet -Manpower for Data Entry S.
