Register online for the MCPS Fine Arts Instrumental Music Program for 4th and 5th-grade students. Led by Mr. Luis Javier Godinez, this program focuses on individual performance skills, music literacy, and ear-training development. Course expectations include consistent attendance, commitment to performances, and effective home practice. Course Expectations: -consistent attendance with instrument and sheet music -commitment and attendance regarding all performances and concerts -effective effort in consistent home practice
Instrument Acquisition Please register for the program online at: https://sites.google.com/mcpsmd.net/elementary-instrumental-music/registration **I will receive more requests than I have instruments, so please be aware that making an instrument request is not a guarantee in receiving an instrument** -All students will receive rental information from local shops -Families may request a school-loaned instrument for the school year after filling out the online registration form -If you are requesting an instrument from the school, then you will be notified about a day and time for you to pick up the instrument -Please review the program s expectations and registration contract -Please keep in mind that rentals from local shops and services are committing to ship over to you
